The length of this tape corresponds to the length of time it took for me to get washed in to the beach while lying motionless out at sea, beyond the breakers, off the coast of Florida during a storm.

The interior shots- constructing a self portrait from drawings of that season's hurricane tracks and then painting them in controlled pours- are laid on top of the continuously running video shot at the coast.

The final shot- erasing the self portrait- is tacked on to the end.
